There lot of tourist place in India, but Goa is a popular tourist spot. There’s a lot of festivals is celebrated because of attraction. One of the most popular festival of Sao Joao Festival. The São João Festival is celebrated in Goa amongst the Catholic community and is dedicated to St John the Baptist. São João Festival is celebrated on 24th June every year. The Sao Joao Festival is celebrated throughout Goa with a lot of grandeur and ceremony. The Sao Joao Festival is mainly celebrated by the local youth of the villages interesting feat of men jumping into overflowing village wells to retrieve bottles of local feni alcohol. There are also boat race, singing and dancing.
