The Urs festival is celebrated in Ajmer, Rajasthan in India. It is one of the sacred festivals for Muslims. It is held during the 6th month of the Muslim lunar calendar. Urs Festival is Celebrated on 4 June 2012. After Mecca, the Dargah at Ajmer is considered the second most sacred pilgrimage for Muslims. The celebration begins on the first week of June. The festival is commemorates the death anniversary of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti and during the 6th month of the Muslim lunar calendar.
